Conte de printemps

There is certainly something in the air in this fair city. New York loves its Spring.  Cafés are opening their French windows, the Dogwood trees are blossoming in the Villages, and the Brooklynites are getting ready for their roof top parties. So here are a few ideal Spring outfits whether you’re brunching in West Village, dancing through to dawn in LES, or used book shopping in Williamsburgh on your lazy Sunday.

1940s Inspired Masculine Feminine

Stomp along the streets with a Katharine Hepburn-esque prowess in these soft high-waisted pants. If you're going to pull this look off, I recommend light, flowing fabrics as opposed to heavy ones. You want someone to coyly chastise you for being a goddess, not a genie. If you're into the feel of silk, check out Nellie Partow dresses that are 25% off at Plum
